Hippo Names Keith Simard Vice President of Property Claims

Former American Family Enterprise and Homesite Insurance executive brings operational know-how and technical prowess to further enhance Hippo’s claims experience

PALO ALTO, Calif., May 16, 2022 —Hippo (NYSE: HIPO), the home insurance group focused on proactive home protection, today named Keith Simard Vice President of Property Claims. Simard joins Hippo to oversee claims adjusting operations after ten years at American Family Enterprise, where he most recently served as Associate Vice President, ​​Property Field and Catastrophe Claims.

With more than 15 years of managing claims and catastrophe response Simard will lead and manage Hippo’s property claims teams, while also working with Chief Claims Officer Grace Hanson to deliver a personalized claims experience for Hippo customers.
